The big plunge...

The first picture is the happy fun thing about buying our new house, a new bench and numbers. The other pictures of packing and mess and boxes from floor to ceiling, show the stress of moving. I hope we are in our new house for many years. It is a true blessing from God, and I am amazed at His provision for us! We sign tomorrow!!!!

What a wonder to be a mom

Today has been a fabulous Mothers Day. To most people it would be considered just another day, but Mark has been letting me relax. We went for a walk and there were these cute little daisies everywhere by the lake. He had patience to wait while I wove together a necklace for myself. We talked and then we spotted baby geese with their mom walking around the shore. It was so beautiful. My kids sent me cards and called, I called my mom, and church was great. I had a gal give me her number in Sunday school, and asked to get together some time. God is Good!!

Little drama

These were the left over leads that were on me after my emergency room EKG. I thought I just had a little bug, with the diarrhea and vomiting, then when Mark was going to take me to the hospital for dizziness, I passed out in the hall. He called the paramedics, and said I was in and out for 15 minutes. When they loaded me into the ambulance, my veins were to small for an IV so they waited until I was in a room. Long story short, after an IV and meds, chest x-ray etc .... it was just dehydration and too much caffeine. The rest of the day I just took it easy and I feel fine today. When I was getting ready for bed I found a few leads that the nurse forgot to remove from my ankles and chest. Praise the Lord all is well!

Home Sweet Home?

This is the view from the house we are trying to buy. If everything closes we should be in by the end of the month. While we were watching the inspector walk around and sign the house as OK, these three deer walked through the back yard. It reminded me of the movie with Chevy Chase where he wants to sell his house so he pays the town people to make everything seem perfect for the prospective buyers. I said "cue the deer" when they walked by (like on the movie) and Mark said it at the same time. We had to laugh. Praying it works out :)
